Mark your calendars for March 22, 2025. That’s when Easterseals Capital Region & Eastern Connecticut will host its Crystal Ball Gala: Spring Fling - Where Teamwork Comes Alive at The Riverview in Simsbury, CT. The event is the largest fundraiser of the year for Easterseals and will bring together leaders from the corporate, medical, and civic sectors, as well as community advocates, to celebrate Easterseals’ commitment to inclusion and empowerment for individuals with disabilities and veterans.
This year’s theme, “It Takes a Team,” underscores the collaborative spirit required to make meaningful change. The evening will feature keynote speaker Tim Restall, President of the Hartford Yard Goats, whose leadership at America’s top-ranked Double-A ballpark exemplifies the power of teamwork. NBC30’s Kevin Nathan will emcee the event, guiding attendees through a program that includes testimonies from Easterseals participants. Among them, Michael Lynch, a U.S. Navy veteran and active Veterans Rally Point member and volunteer, will share his personal journey of service, and the vital support and healing he has found through Veterans Rally Point. His story highlights the impact of Easterseals' programs in helping veterans transition, rebuild, and thrive in civilian life. The gala will also include dinner, dancing, and live and silent auctions.
The Crystal Ball Gala is about teamwork making the dream work, with presenting sponsor RTX leading the charge alongside platinum sponsors Eversource and Stanley Black & Decker. Their contributions highlight the commitment of Hartford-area businesses to Easterseals’ mission of fostering equity, inclusion, and access.
