With over two decades of leadership in nonprofit financial management, Joanne brings a deep commitment to mission-driven work and a strong foundation in economics and accounting.
A graduate of Villanova University and the University of Connecticut, Joanne began her nonprofit journey by helping launch Manes & Motions Therapeutic Riding Center alongside her mother, serving as Treasurer and Finance Director for five years. The program later became part of the Hospital for Special Care, where she continues to serve as Board Chair. Joanne is excited to be a member of the Easterseals team supporting a mission that directly impact individuals in the community: veterans and people with disabilities.
Joanne spent 12 years as Finance Director at YWCA New Britain, followed by a leadership role at the New Britain Museum of American Art as Finance Director and later Director of Business Administration, overseeing Finance, HR, Investments, Security, and Facilities. A passionate advocate for community service, Joanne serves on several boards, including the YWCA Board of Trustees, Manes & Motions, the Greater New Britain Chamber of Commerce, the CT Alliance to End Sexual Violence, and Noah Webster House.
