Overview

Everyone that comes to us has a unique story. With your help and support, our Easterseals affiliate continues to meet those individual needs. Accomplishing all of this, takes a dedicated staff partnered with committed volunteers. Those volunteers give of their time, talent, and treasure and can serve on committees, our board of directors, as well as on projects. We are grateful for their time and dedication to our mission.

Volunteer Spotlight: Meet Phil & Sabrina

Phil and Sabrina are remarkable volunteers at our Easterseals.  Their passion, leadership, and generosity have helped strengthen our Easterseals community year after year. Phil actively serves on our Board of Directors and has engaged his company, Brighthouse Financial, in our mission; together, they lead as co-chairs of our Crystal Ball Committee—our most important fundraiser of the year.  They consistently go above and beyond to support our mission and drive fundraising to support Easterseals Veterans’ and disability programs.

From helping shape the vision for the Crystal Ball to engaging new supporters, Phil and Sabrina have played a vital role in expanding the reach and impact of the gala. Their enthusiasm is contagious, and they have introduced countless new individuals to Easterseals, inspiring others to learn about and invest in our mission.

Whether they are recruiting attendees, cultivating relationships, brainstorming creative ideas, or lending a hand wherever needed, Phil and Sabrina are always willing to step up. Their commitment, leadership, and dedication have helped make the Crystal Ball a meaningful and memorable event for our community.  Further, personally and professionally, they support our leading golf tournaments!

Volunteer Spotlight: Meet Tara & Tony

Tara and Tony have made an incredible impact on our Easterseals community through their generosity, and engagement in multiple events. As vice-chairs of our Crystal Ball Committee, they have been instrumental in helping make our signature gala a success.

This year, Tara and Tony went above and beyond by securing amazing auction items that helped elevate the event and create exciting opportunities for our guests to support our mission of serving Veterans and people with disabilities. Their dedication and commitment to ensuring a successful Crystal Ball never go unnoticed.

Beyond their support of the gala, Tara also joined us at our inaugural Nine & Shine golf event, bringing her enthusiasm and energy. As a partner of Easterseals through their company Costanzo Clothing, they created custom player shirts for our Nine & Shine participants, measuring each golfer, and making each of our female golfers feel recognized and celebrated. Their thoughtful contribution added a personal touch that made the event even more special and unique. Together, Tara and Tony  have continually found meaningful ways to engage with Easterseals and support our work.

Volunteer Spotlight: Meet Patty & Alexsa

Patty and Alexsa are a dynamic mother-daughter duo whose enthusiasm, generosity, and commitment to our mission have already made a meaningful impact on Easterseals. While they are newer members of our Crystal Ball Committee, they have quickly become valuable contributors and dedicated supporters of our events benefitting Easterseals Veterans’ and disability programs.

Alexsa has been engaged in our Easterseals mission for many years— she began by volunteering at our annual WALK.  She then became a member of the Crystal Ball Committee. Fortunately, she recruited her Mom, Patty, for the committee deepening  their involvement.  They have both volunteered at our major golf event—bringing positivity and smiles.  Their willingness to jump in and help wherever needed has made them wonderful additions to the team.

Patty went above and beyond by securing numerous auction items for the Crystal Ball, as well as drawing prize items for our Nine & Shine golf event. Her efforts helped enhance both events and create exciting opportunities for guests and participants to support our mission.

Alexsa also made a meaningful impact by engaging her company, OneDigital, as a sponsor. Through her efforts, she helped introduce new support for Easterseals and expand awareness of our mission within the community.

Together, Patty and Alexsa have embraced opportunities to get involved and make a difference. Their energy, generosity, and dedication are already helping to strengthen our events and further our mission.
