EnviroShred opened its doors in 2008 as a social enterprise of Easterseals Capital Region & Eastern Connecticut, Inc. The NAID-certified business is a safe, secure, and environmentally responsible means of destroying confidential information. EnviroShred works in accordance with all state laws and regulations and maintains compliance with the highest level of federal government standards for document destruction.

EnviroShred provides pick-up services, drop-off services, document purging, and electronics recycling.

EnviroShred both directly employs Veterans and individuals with disabilities and its operations support the employment programs of Easterseals. Simply put, using EnviroShred means entrusting your secure information to an industry leader and doing good at the same time.

EnviroShred will provide a consultation at no charge and design an information destruction program to best fit your needs.

We offer weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or customized pickup to meet our customers’ protection needs.

Drop-off Services

EnviroShred accepts documents and electronic equipment for destruction and recycling at our East Hartford facility at 22 Prestige Park Circle, East Hartford, CT, Monday - Friday from 9am to 3pm.

We offer one-time secure document destruction for personal and business sites.
