Early diagnosis of dementia is important because it provides greater access to treatment interventions; helps people make better informed decisions about legal, financial, and future care plans; and provides individuals and their families with practical information and resources.

EnviroShred opened its doors in 2008 as a social enterprise of Easterseals Capital Region & Eastern Connecticut, Inc. The NAID-certified business is a safe, secure, and environmentally responsible means of destroying confidential information. EnviroShred provides pick-up services, drop-off services, document purging, and electronics recycling.

Easterseals is here to help our patients gain as much independence as possible in their daily lives. Our team of experienced providers specialize in treating adults and children with various physical, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive needs. We work together as an interdisciplinary team, customizing our treatment plans for each patient and their family, while our sessions are delivered individually to promote the best possible outcomes.

For many of the brave men and women servicemembers who have served our country, the journey home is complicated and challenging. Whether you're recovering from physical and/or psychological injuries or trying to navigate the civilian world to gain meaningful employment, Easterseals walks with veterans and servicemembers on their journey every step of the way.
