Overview
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that begins in early childhood and affects how people interact with others, communicate, learn, and behave. According to the CDC, 1 in 36 children in the U.S. have Autism, up from the previous rate of 1 in 44. 1 in 45 adults in the U.S. have Autism. In the U.S., about 4 in 100 boys and 1 in 100 girls have Autism.

We offer services to assess, diagnose, and support children, young adults, and their families who are struggling with understanding and managing behaviors. The collaboration of all parties involved helps to ensure that the individual's plan of care is consistent across different environments.

Our Programs
Easterseals offers a range of interdisciplinary outpatient programs designed to meet the diverse needs of our patients. Each plan of care is personalized to promote growth, independence, and quality of life.
Our Outpatient Clinical Services team provides coordinated, interdisciplinary care to address the unique needs of individuals with autism and their families. Effective treatment often involves collaboration among multiple providers, supportive caregiver education, and a focus on building skills for daily life.
We offer several services designed to help individuals better understand and manage developmental, behavioral, and social challenges.

Counseling & Therapy
Our licensed clinical staff provide compassionate care for the prevention and treatment of mental, emotional, and behavioral challenges. We help individuals and families strengthen coping skills, improve communication, and enhance overall well-being. -
Early Autism Evaluation
Comprehensive screening and evaluation to access Autism in children as young as 16-30 months. -
Neuropsychological Evaluations
Comprehensive assessment to understand changes in thinking, learning, memory, and behavior. -
Support Groups
Our outpatient groups help individuals build confidence, strengthen emotional well-being, and connect with others in a caring, supportive environment.
