Ashley and Delores at the Coast Guard Academy

At the Coast Guard Academy, cadets leave home to serve their country and grow into future leaders—making connection and support more important than ever. Easterseals participants Ashley and Delores, two dedicated Mailroom Clerks in our Easterseals Group Supported Employment (GSE) program, help provide that connection every day.

Each morning, Ashley and Delores deliver mail to 17 departments across the Coast Guard Academy campus and manage incoming shipments by sorting, labeling, and organizing packages for distribution. Working alongside Academy staff, they help ensure deliveries are accurate and that cadets are notified promptly. Beyond their daily responsibilities, Ashley and Delores help create a welcoming, warm environment for cadets and staff alike.
