At Easterseals, our Adult Day Programs, authorized under Day Support Hourly (DSH), provides a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for adults with disabilities to thrive. We focus on individual choice, skill-building, community, inclusion, and personal growth, ensuring every participant experiences a meaningful and fulfilling day.
What is the Adult Day Program (DSH)?
The Adult Day Program is designed for individuals who benefit from structured support throughout the day. Whether participating in on-site activities or exploring the community, individuals receive services tailored to their interests, goals, and abilities.
Program Highlights
- Life skills development – cooking, personal care, money management, and communication
- Recreational activities – music, art, movement, games, and seasonal celebrations

Who can participate in the Adult Day Program?
Adults with a DDS-approved DSH authorization who are looking for a supportive, enriching daytime program. We welcome individuals with a wide range of support needs.
Our thoughtfully designed programs—located in East Hartford and Norwich—focus on promoting independence, personal growth, and community connection through a wide variety of educational, recreational, and life-enriching activities.
Each location is fully accessible and designed to foster independence, connection, and dignity in every aspect of daily life.
