Employment Exploration Option (EEO)
The Employment Exploration Option (EEO) is designed for individuals who have a Day Support Hourly (DSH) authorization and are interested in exploring employment opportunities and community involvement.
This service offers a foundational introduction to the world of work, helping participants:
- Discover personal interests and skills
- Learn about different job types and environments
- Gain exposure to community settings
- Build confidence in pursuing employment goals
It's a great starting point for those who are curious about working but aren't yet ready to enter the workforce.
Employment Enrichment Service (EES)
The Employment Enrichment Service (EES) is designed for individuals who are already employed but are looking to add more structure and enrichment to their day or week.
This service supports continued growth and stability by:
- Enhancing life and job-readiness skills
- Maintaining motivation and engagement
- Supporting long-term employment success
- Offering meaningful community-based or on-site activities
EES helps individuals stay connected, active, and supported—both on and off the job.
Group Supported Employment (GSE)
Group Supported Employment (GSE) offers individuals the opportunity to work in small groups within community-based businesses while receiving on-the-job coaching and support from Easterseals staff.
GSE provides a structured, team-oriented work experience that helps participants:
- Develop essential job skills in a real-world setting
- Earn a paycheck while working in an inclusive environment
- Gain confidence and readiness for future individual employment opportunities
- Build social and communication skills through teamwork
This option is ideal for individuals who benefit from consistent support and enjoy working collaboratively with peers in a supervised setting.
Individual Supported Employment (ISE)
(also referred to as SEI by DDS)
Individual Supported Employment (ISE) is a personalized service for individuals who are working—or ready to work—independently in the community, with tailored support from Easterseals.
ISE focuses on helping individuals:
- Obtain competitive, integrated employment
- Receive one-on-one job coaching and workplace support
- Navigate the job search, application, and interview process
- Build long-term career success and workplace independence
